MASTER CRAFTSMAN: Anthony Hansen is one of Australia's leading, internationally recognised, award-winning craftsmen. He moulds them by hand using a traditional form of woodworking called woodturning. They are then polished with 100% Australian Canola Oil to enhance the natural colour of the Banksia pod.

UNIQUE BY NATURE: Created by nature (Banksia grandis, commonly known as the Bull Banksia Tree) and beautifully handcrafted, our Banksia Aroma Pods are the purest, most natural way to enjoy your favourite essential oils. Each pod is approximately 7cm in diameter though they vary in shape, colour and size depending on what nature provides us. Each pod is cut into sections and put on a woodturning lathe. The outside is moulded with a chisel to reveal its unique pattern.
RENEWABLE SOURCE: The Seed Pods Collected have expelled their seeds and have completed their lifecycle. The collectors go into the bush on foot, careful to not disturb any surrounding plants or wildlife. No heavy machinery is used, each pod is handpicked to ensure not to damage the tree itself or the Australian bushland.
HOW TO USE
- Remove the cork from the Banksia Pod.
- Prime your pod by filling the pod right up to the top and letting the oil soak into the pod. Place the cork back on the pod.
- Top up by Placing 1mL (approx. 15 drops) of oil into the pod as needed. (Note: some fragrances will last longer than others)
- Place the cork back on the Banksia Pod and enjoy the subtle fragrance.
Note: For best results, use with PURE essentials oils. Eucalyptus, Peppermint oils work well. Other oils like citrus oil work best when blended with others. Please see our Frequently Asked Questions tab for more information on the Banksia pods.
