Inferno X (Japanese: X) is the second expansion in the Mega Evolution Series, released in Japan on September 26 2025.
This set continues the Mega Evolution revival, introducing Mega Charizard X ex as its headline card, alongside a lineup of fiery and dark-themed Pokemon that embody the intensity of the new Mega era.
Each booster box contains 30 packs with 5 cards per pack, offering a premium opening experience filled with powerful ex cards, Illustration Rares, and the return of Special Art Rares featuring Mega Evolutions.
The set's theme focuses on raw elemental energy - fire and shadow - with intricate artwork that captures the explosive nature of Mega Charizard X ex and companions like Mega Sharpedo ex and Oricorio ex.
Inferno X continues the story established in Mega Brave and Mega Symphonia, expanding the Mega Evolution Series with fresh mechanics and high-impact collector appeal. It also serves as the foundation for the upcoming English release, Phantasmal Flames.
