Frequently Asked Questions
How firm should I inflate it?
Inflate it with the straw until it's soft and pliable. Don't over-inflate it. It can slowly lose air over time, so just top it up with the straw when needed.
What exercises can I use it for?
Squeeze it between your knees or hands for inner-thigh and core work, or place it under your lower back or pelvis for supported crunches, bridges and balance drills. It also adds light instability to standing balance work.
Can I use it while recovering from an injury?
Pilates balls are common in studio and clinic programs, but if you're recovering from an injury or managing a health condition, check with a physiotherapist or other health professional before you start.
How do I clean it?
Wipe it clean after use and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and sharp objects.
