Delivery & Shipping
After you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. We aim to dispatch in-stock items from our Perth warehouse within 1-4 business days.
Please Note:
Stock Availability: If an item is unavailable, we will notify you within 24 hours.
3PL Products: Items not held in our main warehouse may take 5-7 business days to dispatch.
Delivery Times: All delivery estimates are provided by our carriers and are subject to delays, especially for remote areas. We provide tracking for all orders.
Heavy Items (25kg+): These are kerbside delivery only. The customer is responsible for moving items inside. Please be available to assist the driver. For a two-person delivery service, contact us for a quote.
Re-delivery Fee: A $25 fee applies if no one is available to receive the delivery.
Delivery Scope: Service is to ground level only and does not include waste removal.
Returns
We follow the Australian Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines. For more information, visit the ACCC website.
Change of Mind: We do not offer refunds or returns for change of mind.
Faulty or Damaged Goods: Items must be reported within 7 days of delivery and will be replaced. Please have your tax invoice and original packaging ready.
Authorised Returns: If we authorise a return for another reason, the buyer is responsible for all delivery costs (including any initially subsidised "free" delivery) and a 15% restocking fee.
Warranty Issues: For valid warranty claims we cannot fix, we will cover all return costs.
Warranties
This document outlines the warranty policies for Direct Fitness Gear and its associated brands: Insight and Impact Fitness. Please read the specific terms for your product below.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law are not affected by these warranties. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality.
A. Direct Fitness Gear Standard Warranty
The following terms apply to Direct Fitness Gear products, unless a specific brand warranty (like Insight or Impact Fitness) is stated.
Coverage: This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
Start Date: The warranty period begins from the date the product is dispatched.
Proof of Purchase: A valid tax invoice is required for all warranty claims.
What We Will Do: We will, at our discretion, repair or replace defective parts with items of similar or equivalent value. If we cannot repair or replace the product, a full refund will be provided.
Customer Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the cost of transporting the product to and from our service centre.
On-site repairs will incur a call-out fee.
The product must be used in a home (consumer) setting. Commercial use voids this warranty (commercial products have a separate warranty).
What is Not Covered:
Malfunctions caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, accident, incorrect assembly, or unauthorized alteration.
Different products have different warranty periods; please check your specific product documentation.
Note: Other brands sold by Direct Fitness Gear may have different warranty conditions. Please refer to the warranty information provided with your specific product.
B. Insight Commercial Strength Equipment Warranty
This warranty applies to Insight Commercial Strength equipment used in commercial facilities (e.g., gyms, hotels, apartment buildings).
Coverage Period (from date of dispatch):
Frame/Body: 10 Years
Structural Moving Parts: 5 Years
Pulleys, Bearings, Bushings: 3 Years
Paint, Cables, Upholstery, Accessories: 1 Year
What is Not Covered:
Freight damage, abuse, misuse, or improper repairs.
Acts of nature, accidents, or failure to follow instructions.
Damage from improper location (e.g., rain, dust, direct sunlight).
Modification or service by a non-authorized technician.
Normal wear and tear, accessories, and consumable items.
Failure to provide proof of purchase from an authorized dealer.
Exceeding the maximum user capacity.
Service Terms: The customer bears all transport costs to and from the service centre. This warranty is non-transferable.
C. Insight Commercial Cardio Equipment Warranty
This warranty applies to Insight Commercial Cardio equipment used in commercial settings with usage not exceeding 12 hours per day.
Coverage Period (from date of dispatch):
Frame: 7 Years
Motor: 5 Years
Generator Motor (Bikes/Ellipticals): 3 Years
Belt & Deck: 2 years or 4000 hours
Console & Other Parts: 2 Years
Labor: 1 Year
Service Area: Standard warranty service is available within 70km of major capital cities. Outside these areas, a travel fee may apply, and service is not guaranteed.
What is Not Covered: (Same exclusions as Insight Commercial Strength Warranty, plus usage over 12 hours per day).
D. Impact Fitness Warranty
Coverage Period (from purchase date):
Frame: 5 Years
Parts & Labor: 1 Year
Service Area: Standard warranty service is available within 70km of major capital cities. Outside these areas, a travel fee may apply.
Transport Costs: The customer bears transport costs, unless the repair is covered under the 1-year labor warranty.
What is Not Covered: (Similar exclusions to Insight warranties, including freight damage, misuse, acts of nature, improper service, and failure to provide proof of purchase).
