INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Installation and replacement procedure for the FINE300 fridge water filter It is not necessary to turn off the water supply before attempting to change the water filter cartridge. 1. Grasp and firmly twist the cartridge in an anticlockwise direction 2. Pull the cartridge away from the filter head 3. Discard old filter 4. Remove protective cap 5. Push the cartridge up towards filter head while rotating it in a clockwise direction 6. Dispense 2-3 Gallons of water to flush the cartridge, removing trapped air and harmless carbon fines
Important : It is essential that operation, maintenance and filter replacement be carried out in accordance with manufacture's recommended procedures and guidelines for this product to perform as advertised.
Failure to do so may void warranty.
Filter life : Most refrigerator manufacturers recommend that fridge water filters be replaced every 6 months or when the "change filter" light comes on. This ensures your water and ice taste clean, and that your LG fridge's ice & water dispenser stays in optimal working order.
