Novalac Allergy Premium Rice Based Infant Formula 0-12Months 800g

Novalac Allergy is a premium infant formula specially formulated with protein sourced from rice. It is designed for the dietary management of cow's milk protein allergy symptoms in babies from 0-12 months. This nutritionally complete formula is suitable for babies who are unable to tolerate formulas containing cow's milk protein, or who have a confirmed cow's milk protein allergy and/or lactose intolerance. It contains PAX Complex, a patented blend of scientifically researched ingredients, and provides essential daily nutrients for your baby.

Novalac Allergy is not suitable for general use and should be used under medical supervision. Suitable as a sole source of nutrition up to 6 months of age. Not for parenteral use. Warning: Follow instructions exactly. Prepare bottles and teats as directed. Do not change proportions of powder except on medical advice. Incorrect preparation can make your baby very ill.

Maltodextrin, vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed, sunflower, coconut), rice proteins hydrolysate, thickeners (pectin, locust bean gum), Minerals (dipotassium phosphate, tricalcium citrate, calcium chloride, magnesium sulphate, disodium phosphate, ferric pyrophosphate, zinc sulphate, sodium selenite, potassium iodide, cupric sulphate, manganese sulphate), tapioca starch, emulsifier (sunflower lecithin), choline bitartrate, oil from the microalgae Schizochytrium sp. (DHA), L-lysine, Vitamins (A, B1, B12, B2, B6, C, D3, E, K1, biotin, folic acid, niacin, pantothenic acid), L-isoleucine, L-tryptophan, Mortierella alpina oil (ARA), L-cystine, taurine, inositol, L-carnitine, antioxidants (extract rich in tocopherols, ascorbyl palmitate), L-leucine.

This is a general guide only. Your baby may need more or less bottles than indicated depending on their appetite. 

• Age (months) 0 to 1: 6 bottles per day, 3 level scoops per bottle, 90mL cooled boiled water.
• Age (months) 1 to 2: 5 bottles per day, 4 level scoops per bottle, 120mL cooled boiled water.
• Age (months) 2 to 4: 5 bottles per day, 5 level scoops per bottle, 150mL cooled boiled water.
• Age (months) 4 to 6: 4 bottles per day, 7 level scoops per bottle, 210mL cooled boiled water.
• Age (months) 6 to 12: 3* bottles per day, 7 level scoops per bottle, 210mL cooled boiled water. *As part of a diversified diet. Babies aged over 6 months should be offered solid food in addition to infant formula.

• Always add one level scoopful (4.4g) to 30mL of cooled pre-boiled water.
• Each bottle should be prepared individually.
• Always wash your hands before preparing a bottle.
• Wash the feeding bottle, cap, teat and any utensils to be used, then sterilise them in boiling water.
• Boil clean drinking water for 5 minutes and allow to cool to 40°C.
• Pour the required amount of water into the bottle.
• Using the scoop provided, add the correct quantity of powder to the water.
• Do not compact the powder in the scoop.
• Secure the lid on the bottle, roll the bottle between your palms and then shake briskly for at least 30 seconds until the powder is completely dissolved.
• Let formula cool to lukewarm temperature (37°C).
• Formula may separate while cooling. Re-shake if required and test the temperature on wrist before feeding.
• Feed immediately. Formula should be consumed within one hour of preparation.
• Discard any unfinished formula.
