The Carl 123N is the three hole member of Carl's heavy duty punch family, for workplaces whose binders or filing systems use a three hole pattern.
ACCO rate the 123N at 145 sheets per stroke, consistently across their listing; our title shows 150, and we would work to ACCO's figure. Three punch heads ride on a reinforced metal structure for a stable, even punch, and ACCO describe the handle as giving extra comfort over long sessions.
A self-centring paper guide places the set of holes evenly. Blades and the support boards under them are easy to change, and a storage drawer holds the spares. Replacement blades for the 123 are listed separately, and the Carl P-B01 spare discs suit this model.
Before buying, check that your binders take three holes: most Australian ring binders use two or four, which the 122N and 124N punch.
