Australian Cavendish Bananas are grown in tropical and sub tropical regions. The tropical banana growing regions of Nothern Queensland, mainly around Tully and Innisfail, produce more than 90% of Australia's Bananas. Other production areas are in the NT, WA in Carnarvon, Northern NSW and Bundaberg in Southern Queensland.
