LIPTON GREEN TEA BAG CUP 50 80 GR
Lipton Green Tea is the number one green tea brand nationally. A delicate and slightly bitter flavour delivers all the health benefits of catechins while leaving you feeling refreshed. At Lipton we recognise the importance of sustainability in the growth of our tea. With over 100 years of experience our approach to sustainability is holistic. We looked in detail at the social, environmental and economic aspects of tea production carrying out our own work and working with Rainforest Alliance to ensure all our tea is sourced sustainably. Tea was originally an expensive drink, enjoyed exclusively by the wealthy. In 1880, 40-year-old, Glasgow-born entrepreneur and innovator Sir Thomas Lipton envisioned an opportunity to make a quality tea that was universally accessible, at a reasonable price. He began by purchasing tea estates in Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, and arranged packaging and shipping at low costs to sell his teas directly from the tea garden to the teapot. In 1893, he established the Thomas J Lipton Co., a tea packing company with its headquarters and factory in Hoboken, New Jersey. Building on the experience of over a century in growing and blending tea, Lipton® has kept alive Sir Thomas's love of innovation and quality. Unsurprisingly, Lipton® produces the world's number one tea today. Visit our website to find our full range of exciting tea flavours such as quality black tea, green tea, decaf tea, herbal tea, iced tea and many more.
