So convenient. Ive been buying sumac for over 25 years after first having it in a Lebanese restaurant. It took me ages to find it and I ended up buying it from a Middle Eastern takeaway place near where I lived. I was then able to get it from some Middle Eastern spice stalls at a market 20 kilometres from my house, now it's so easy cos it's on the shelf in my local WW. Packaging is great, as is the resealable lid I just don't know why it has salt added. Apart from being great with fish, vegetables and salads I always sprinkle some on my thinly sliced red onions, it adds a lovely flavour and also removes a lot of the astringent flavour from the onions leaving them sweeter and softer I still buy pure sumac from Spice shops but it's grest knowing I can find it two minutes from home??
