Ready, Set, Jelly!

Ready – Empty contents of Aeroplane Jelly Original Lemon Flavoured Jelly into a bowl and add 1 cup (250 mL) of boiling water. Stir well until dissolved. Add 200 mL of cold water and stir.

Set – Refrigerate until firm and wobbly (minimum 4 hours). Makes 500 g of jelly.

Jelly – Serve on its own, or pair with your favourite toppings like ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh fruit. (Do not add fresh pineapple, kiwi fruit or paw paw as jelly will not set.)

Ingredients
2 x 85 g packets Aeroplane Jelly Original Lemon Flavoured Jelly
1 cup (250 mL) boiling water
Coloured straws or ice cream sticks
Coloured sugar crystals

Method
In a bowl combine the contents of both packets of Aeroplane Jelly Original Lemon Flavoured Jelly and 1 cup (250 mL) boiling water and stir until dissolved.

Lightly spray a shallow rectangular container with cooking oil spray and pour dissolved jelly into container. Cover and refrigerate for 2–3 hours or until firm.

Once set, cut jelly into squares and insert straws or ice cream sticks into each square to serve.

Dip jelly pops into coloured sugar just before eating.
