Nothing to wine about
One of Darrell Lea's great Aunts lived on a vineyard in the Hunter Valley. She loved to complain about everything earning her the nickname 'The Winer'. Darrell would always test new flavour ideas on her as she would surely tell him if he got it wrong. Whilst visiting her one day Darrell was inspired by the beautiful purple grapes that would shine like jewels in the Hunter sun. When Darrell offered his Aunt a taste of his latest Grape Twists she ate the whole batch without a single word and simply smiled.
