The name says it all... $2.00 for 700ml - bargain, but the question is - does it taste any good? And with the whole family sitting around the table for some quick and simple Asian goodies, it was a good time to try the latest sample. I'll admit, this is not my usual brand so was hoping everyone would like it. Comments were as follows: A little runny (which was good when biting into fresh spring rolls and pouring a little in each time, but didn't stick to things as much when used as a dipping sauce - therefore this was a positive and negative). It has somewhat of a kick (again good and bad). Sweet Chilli Balanced (all good). Overall in regards to the taste and consistency, everyone was happy enough with the product, especially knowing the price. It only has a 1.5 Health Star rating, which makes me wonder how bad it as before they made is 25% less sugar. Maybe they still need to tweak the recipe a bit. The 'no artifical colours, flavours and preservatives' is a good point though. As is the 'Made in Australia'. Going good with 75% AU ingredients, but surely this could be better. Like the glass bottle as you can see the product and also you can recycle it. All 5 of us agreed that once this bottle is used, we'd happily pop it back on the shopping list and recommend to others, but buy a thicker style for when we want to use as a dip.

Little kick. Sweet chilli sauce is not something i eat often as i prefer more spice so this bottle will last me a while! I found it to be tasty, with a little hint of chilli, and worked perfectlyas a little dipping sauce. The bottle was easy enough to find in the supermarket as it is rather large. The size of the bottle has made it hard to store and i have had trouble finding a spot for it in my cupboards due to its height. At $2 for the large bottle is very cheap and would definitely be suitable to those on a budget.

Great Sauce. Our family does not consume a lot of sweet chilli sauce so we had to wait for our usual bottle of branded product to finish before sampling the WW sample. I was glad to see it was Made in Australia from at least 75% Australian ingredients and contained no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives. As expected with a sauce it had a 1.5 health star rating. A very generous 700ml bottle my only complaint is the size! It is hard to find an adequate spot for it in my fridge door due to its height. At a budget friendly price this product does the job, but unfortunately I personally do not like such a large bottle.

Just the right balance of chilli & sweetness! This is such a great chilli sauce, with just enough chilli to give it a bit if a bite without overpowering the sauce It had just the right amount of sweetness too,not too sweet like some can be & has a good consistency. Great value as well & a good sized bottle which was easy to find on the shelf.

Pleasantly Surprised. I use a lot of sweet chilli sauce as we love Asian inspired dishes, yet I tend to buy Mae Ploy Sweet Chilli Sauce (a product of Thailand) which is very distinct in it’s flavour. When I received this sample, I was sceptical as I don’t usually buy nor eat standard Sweet Chilli Sauces as they just don’t taste the same as the Thai one I like. However, I was very pleasantly surprised at how delicious this sauce was. The large 700ml bottle was easily located with the other sweet chilli sauces, and I loved that the label didn’t cover the whole bottle. You could easily see not only the colour but consistency of the sauce before purchase. I liked the larger quantity, but it is a tricky bottle to store in the fridge. This sauce is quite runny when poured but I prefer a thinner sweet chilli so this was a plus for me. It really depends how you want to use it, and in this instance I was making a marinade for some chicken I was stir frying to put on top of salad (I used soy, oyster, hoi sin and sweet chilli). Flavour wise, it was spicy without being hot, perfect balanced with sweetness. I really enjoyed the mild yet distinct heat of the chilli. It didn’t, however, taste like my usual Mae Ploy so I would probably just use it in cooking, not as a dipping sauce or ingredient for a dressing. The price point makes this exceptional value for money and the large volume in the bottle makes it a very economical option. Personally, I won’t be tempted to make the switch in this instance BUT I do recommend this product for flavour and value.

Has a bit of a kick to it. Wow, what a big bottle of Sweet Chilli Sauce! I was very surprised when I picked this up, I hadn't quite thought about it being a 700ml bottle, and quite frankly - it's huge. I am not really someone who can handle a lot of chilli however I did find this quite tasty. I didn't have too much when I tried it (dipping in carrot sticks to the sauce) and it had a kick to which was just enough. I think if I had a bigger amount my mouth wouldn't cope. I found it quite runny, I would prefer if it was a bit thicker. It was really easy to find in the supermarket, although it was situated on the bottom shelf. However the label is easy to read and eye-catching for this product. The price point is great value for money, it was@$2 for the 700ml bottle - amazing value. I have a lot to use to finish the bottle however when I need some more sweet chilli sauce for cooking I would purchase this product again.

Not sweet enough. Ok so it is contains around half the amount of sugar and salt but hey if it is called a sweet chilli sauce it should taste sweet. I compared it to my sauce of choice Trident and it was a bit runnier in texture. It is also a lot paler in colour. If you like a spicy sauce this one is for you as to me it tasted like adding chilli powder to the ingredients of chilli con carne etc and getting a burning mouth sensation from it. I couldn't taste any sweetness at all. This sauce contains 4% red chilli compared to Trident which contains 21% pickled red chilli. Also it is a very tall bottle so I have had to store in the drink bottle section in the door of my fridge, it could do with being smaller and wider. As a dipping sauce it is not for me however it may work as an addition to stir fries if you like a chilli hit.

Budget friendly. A nice budget friendly sauce being $2 for a huge 700ml bottle. Had a nice bite to it, although i did feel like it was lacking flavour.. just not sure what! This bottle is a little too big for how much I would use it, so if I was to purchase again I will buy the next size down. Would be great if you go through alot of sweet chilli!

No wow factor. It's a plus that this WW sweet chilli sauce reports less sugar and sodium compared to other brands but the ironic part of this is that it tasted sweeter to me compared to my fave Trident brand. And with only 4% chilli verses my one with 21% why is it still just as spicy? I don't get it... I really wanted to like it but the consistency is too runny (even shaking it up), has a weird aftertaste and is noticeably missing that intense red colour. I'll try cooking with it rather than as a dipping sauce. Not for me but thank you for the opportunity to try it.

Nice little dip. I liked this sauce as a little dip for rolls and nuggets. Since I like my sauce a little spicy that's why I felt it was missing that little spicy touch. Overall : 3 stars
