Ready, Set, Jelly!
Ready – Empty contents of Aeroplane Jelly Original Blackcurrant Flavoured Jelly into a bowl and add 1 cup (250 mL) of boiling water. Stir well until dissolved. Add 200 mL of cold water and stir.
Set – Refrigerate until firm and wobbly (minimum 4 hours). Makes 500 g of jelly.
Jelly – Serve on its own, or pair with your favourite toppings like ice cream, whipped cream, or fresh fruit. (Do not add fresh pineapple, kiwi fruit or paw paw as jelly will not set.)

Ingredients
- 250 g butternut biscuits
- 100 g unsalted butter, melted
- 3 large egg whites
- 1 x 85 g packet Aeroplane Jelly Original Blackcurrant Flavoured Jelly
- 1 cup +¼ cup (310 mL) boiling water
- 300 mL thickened cream
- Fresh berries
Method
- Grease and line an inverted 22 cm cake tin. Crush biscuits to a fine crumb and combine with melted butter. Press into base of tin and refrigerate until set firm.
- Beat egg whites on HIGH until white and fluffy. Dissolve jelly crystals in boiling water and slowly pour into egg whites whilst beating on HIGH. Once all incorporated, beat on HIGH for another 3 min then on LOW for 3 min.
- Whisk cream until soft peaks just form – should still be pourable. Gently fold into egg whites until well combined
- Pour filling over base and smooth top. Refrigerate for 4 hrs or overnight for best results. Serve topped with fresh berries.
