OK I Guess. Thanks Woolies Firstly For the Chance too Try These...So When I got these out of the Frozen Seafoods Section, I thought, I'll Keep these for a special Occasion Being Quite Expensive at $27 for a 500gr Bag, they Deserve "The Banquet"...
Closer inspection through the Clear window, reveals, Big Cleaned Chunky Vannamei Prawns...Well these
will Be Very Tasty in Some Malaysian Chilli Prawns, Marinated Prawn Kebabs, Prawn Noodle Salad, Butterflied Out and Bashed n Crumbed, Honey Sesame Prawns...Oh My Mind was Running and saliva flowing at the Delights too Follow...
So, I settled on my Favourite, "Malaysian Chilli Prawns" from My Beloved Hawker Stall in Petaling Jaya Selangor just around the corner from My Home in the 90's..Rich, Decadent and Whoaaa laced with That Fire from 40 Red Chillies..
They were Served with some Hot Steamed Jasmine Rice, Slices of Cucumber, and a little Sambal on the side...
Faces Eagerly awaiting, I Served Up...Nice, Very Hot...Did I Say Very Hot...Thennnnnn, what I can ONLY DESCRIBE as a Strange After TasteDarn...And yes, that's the Vannamei Prawns. Shame Really, and So, NO, They Are Not Australian, But a Product of Vietnam....Whether it's They Are Farmed in Interesting Toned Waters, Or A Chemical Preserve used in the Process when Cooking them...But, they're OK I Guess, for a meal that I was Looking Forward Too, But Disappointing when that Hit, And Think We Could Do A Lot Better on this..Having The Best Seafood in The World, Spoilt with Not Only Choise, But A Great Prawn Variety from our Pristine Coastal Waters, and Certainly with Never any After Taste...
So Only 3's on this one, anddddddd...unfortunately I won't Be purchasing again, as It Is A Worry, with so many Chemicals in Foods today, and the repercussions they have on Health and Wellness down the track....
Cheers..
