The Riverland had an exceptional vintage, low disease pressure and a late cool ripening period, coupled with
low to medium yields, provided a perfect season for Chardonnay.
The Chardonnay was handpicked in mid February. The grapes were then crushed and cooled before a light
pressing. The Chardonnay was fermented under cool conditions to retain and maximise fruit fl avour. The wine
then underwent malo-lactic fermentation to enhance the weight and texture of the wine. Sulphur dioxide was
not used during the production of this wine.
