TOTALCARE Flea Comb has fine set teeth, is a specialised tool that comfortably combs out fleas and their eggs from your pet's hair. As throughout the flea & tick season, everyday brushing and combing may not be enough to remove fleas & ticks.
Usage directions:
Ensure you place a sheet of paper under your pet before using the flea comb so it is easy to see and destroy any fleas combed out. Always start with the back legs and the bottom of your pet's back and systematically work forwards in the direction of the coat. When you spot any fleas in the comb or on the paper immediately drown them in soapy water or insecticide.
The TOTAL CARE Flea Comb forms part of step 2 in the TOTAL CARE 3 step grooming process, Brush & Style. All dogs shed loose hair, even short-coat breeds. Once your pet?s coat is completely dry, de-shed to remove any remaining loose undercoat or dead hair. Trim your pet?s coat for a healthy, tidy look.
Start at your pet's head and work towards the tail. Pay close attention to areas such as under the chin, back of the legs and base of the tail where fleas tend to migrate. Prepare a container of warm, soapy water (approximately 40AC - 50AC) to drown the fleas in. Comb the fleas from the fur and clean the comb in the soapy water as required.
