Do not use in presence of asthma, a stomach ulcer, if you are pregnant or if you are taking anticoagulant medication (unless advised by your Doctor). Do not take if you are allergic to aspirin.

Each capsule contains 100mg of aspirin in the form of enteric coated pellets. The coating on these specially designed pellets prevents the aspirin from being released in the stomach where it may cause stomach irritation. Instead the pellets travel through to the lower intestines where the aspirin is release. When taken regularly Astrix capsules will help prevent heart attack and stroke in patients with know cardiovascular or cerebrovascular disease. Medical supervision is necessary for the prolonged used of Astrix capsules. Astrix capsules are a smaller dose than required for the relief of temporary pain or fever.

Adults - Take one capsule daily with a large glass of water it is important to take Astrix every day preferably at the same time each day. Astrix capsules are not recommended for people on anti-coagulants or allergic to salicylates.

Astrix capsules are packed in a calendar pack for your convenience. Take one capsule on the corresponding day of the week and follow arrow around platform until all capsules are taken.
