Exelgard Fire Safety Carbon Monoxide Alarm Each
Carbon Monoxide Alarm
What are you most at risk?
You are most at risk when you are sleeping in a closed environment. Such as a bathroom or a caravan/motor home. Particulate smoke can be blocked by a closed door, but carbon monoxide (CO) gas is likely to get through.
Carbon monoxide is an odourless tasteless invisible gas that can be created whenever any kind of fuel is burned.
The chemical found in CO is deadly enough to kill a person in a matter of minutes through carbon monoxide poisoning when in an enclosed area, like a bedroom with the door closed.
A CO alarm found is not substitutefor other combustible gas, fire or smoke alarms. This carbon monoxide alarm is supplementary to smoke alarms and is designed to detect carbon monoxide gas from any source of combustion.
