Cooking hint & tips:
PREP: Remove steak from fridge and rest it to room temperature before cooking.
SEASON & SEAR: Lightly oil and season well with salt & pepper. Sear in a hot pan to seal in the juices.
REST: Rest before serving for a more tender and juicy experience.
Pan Fry:
1. Cook your steak to your liking.
2. Add the butter disc to the pan during 1-2 minutes of your cook time and then turn heat on low, melt the butter and baste over the steak, cook for a further minute.
3. Let steak rest, then serve and pour the butter over the steak to finish.
Level of Doneness:
Rare - About 1.5 mins per side, 2 mins rest
Medium - About 2.5 minutes each side, 2 mins rest (recommended)
Well Done - About 3.5 minutes each side, 4 mins rest
