Gourmet Garden Ginger Cold Blended Paste is made with aromatic, zingy ginger, proudly grown by Aussie farmers on broad-acre farms across Australia, where the warm subtropical climate and rich soil delivers the optimum conditions for flavoursome, aromatic ginger. The ginger is harvested when its essential oils (that's the flavour, colour and aroma) are at their peak and then transported to our Palmwoods factory where they are washed, chopped and cold blended for fresher flavour that lasts for 4 weeks.*
Ginger Cold Blended Paste is perfect for those who love flavour, without the need to grate or chop. Ginger can be used as a base for sweet or savoury dishes and should generally be added at the beginning of your cooking. It is ideal in Asian dishes, sauces, marinade, juices and biscuits. In cooking use 1 tbsp of paste to replace 1 tbsp of fresh ginger or add according to your taste.
